For almost 3000-4000 years of known history, except for the last 100 years or so, India has been considered as a destination to become wealthy. India has been rich in both material and intellectual sense. For example, the below link talks about the invention of calculus 300 years before Newton by Indians in Kerala. http://www.scienceblog.com/cms/indians-predated-newton-discovery-250-years-13917.html We have done well to get up and get counted in today's world too. And we will keep moving ahead irrespective the barriers built by our politics, religion and other differences. Future looks bright and we are in the right place in the right moment to make maximum use of the information age though we missed the train when the industrial age started. Our minds have been our only investment and continue to be so. Next time, somebody talks ill about India, DON'T FIGHT BACK. The tendency to prove that we are not inferior is in itself an acceptance that we are. Instead be quiet and continue to build the nation so that nobody ever has courage to make that comment again.
