The baggage, with the trophies won in Future Cup, that was missing from the July 5th Glasgow-London-Mumbai British Airways flight was recovered and would be delivered to BCCI office in Mumbai on Tuesday.
“The luggage would be delivered at the BCCI office in Mumbai by this evening. It was a normal delay and was nothing to worry about,” Shah said.
The luggage had been caught up in a “backlog” of bags on their way to India via British Airways, the airlines which was to transport the bags via London last week.
The airlines had blamed the backlog on heightened security measures at London’s Heathrow airport.
